The Bone and Joint Centre believes in the health and wellness of its community and supports local groups to provide enriching experiences for their activities.

The Bone and Joint Centre is pleased to support and be the primary sponsor for the WKSC Optimist Dolphins. This is a group dedicated to getting children as young as 7 on the water and pursuing an active lifestyle afloat.  Sally Bromilow from the Optimist Dolphins said, “It has been great having the Bone and Joint Centre onboard; they have helped us provide sailing bibs, training and a fantastic new (to us) trailer that allows us to take our sailing on the road.”

The sailors are now able to travel on a regatta trailer sponsored by the Bone and Joint Centre.

Here is what some of the helms have said;

“It’s been fab, our race team have been to Rutland Water, Derwent Water and even Trearddur Bay with our trailer, we all travel as a team and we know our boats will arrive safe and sound.” David B.

“I like to visit other clubs with my sailing friends, thank-you Bone and Joint Centre,” George C.

“This winter we will be training hard and will be taking the Bone and Joint trailer all over the North West and North Wales.” Charlotte W.

Mark Creasy, class captain of the Optimist Dolphins said, “We have had a very successful few months, travelling with as many as 9 helms. Because of this hard work, 4 of our helms have been selected to join the RYA North Zone squad this Winter. This in part has been facilitated by having the trailer available for us to travel as a race team to sailing clubs in the North and Midlands. We hope to continue and build on this success, with lots more events planned for the coming season throughout the country, travelling with our Bone and Joint Centre trailer.”
