From early 2012, Rhona was experiencing severe pain in her left shoulder area. Rhona told us “I was referred by my GP to Mr Matthew Smith at Spire Liverpool Hospital who diagnosed my shoulder pain as a Rotator Cuff injury and recommended an operation to repair it. Being a nervous patient, Mr Smith was extremely patient with me, explaining everything in layman’s terms. He totally re-assured me even arranging for me to speak to the anaesthetist beforehand”.
