The Bone and Joint Centre trailer was on the road last weekend when 6 WKSC Optimists travelled to Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire to compete in the 2017 Volvo Gill Optimist Inland Championships. The competition saw 260 boats competing across two fleets, including a number of GBR squad sailors. Despite the fact the weather for the event was rainy and overcast, people’s spirits were not at all dampened by the British weather and the turn out was brilliant. It was lots of fun, and a wonderful experience for the young helms, who gained lots to take away and learn from the weekend.
