The Bone and Joint Centre consultants are supported by services within Spire Liverpool Hospital such as Sportscan diagnostic imaging with its state of the art static MRI scanner, offering patients flexible and convenient x-ray and MRI appointments without waiting. Our consultants also work closely with Perform physiotherapists to offer patients a comprehensive assessment and diagnostic rehabilitation service. Following orthopaedic surgery, together these services aim to get patients back on their feet sooner.

The Perform gym now boasts the only AlterG™, Anti-Gravity Treadmill available to the public in Merseyside. The Perform physiotherapists have a wide variety of people using the machine from professional rugby players to patients who have had hip, knee and foot surgery, with excellent results. Using the AlterG™ can help return users to their normal activities faster as exercising becomes easier.

Spire Liverpool Hospital Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic offers a dynamic service specialising in musculo-skeletal conditions. The physiotherapists are all highly qualified with more than five years training and are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
The department works closely with consultants and GPs to ensure that patients receive a highly focused course of treatment and care tailored to their individual needs.
